From Aberdeen
Take the A96 all the way to the outskirts of Inverness, join the A9 north and proceed as above.
From Dundee
Take the A90 to the outskirts of Perth then A9 to Inverness, then proceed as above.
By Train
The nearest railway station to the castle is Dunrobin Castle. It is situated at the end of the castle drive and is no more than a 5-10 minute walk from the front entrance. Discounts are available to rail passengers on production of the appropriate rail ticket.
Passengers for Dunrobin Castle Station should be aware that the station i a request stop. If travelling to the Castle, please inform the guard at the start of your journey that you wish to get off. Passengers joining the train should give a clear hand signal to the train driver as the train enters the station.
